What do our students think?

TESTIMONIALS:

"I returned to Cotton Mills in February after two months in another accommodation facility. I came back because the staff at Cotton Mills are much friendlier and I have made many new friends here. With the range of social events, there is always something to do if you want a break from studying. This has been my first time away from home, and coming from India, Phil and Julie have really helped the transition and made me feel like part of the family. I have already rebooked for 08/09."

Parvinder Singh,
NTU (Business) (March 2009)

"I like living in Cotton Mills as it is peaceful which allows me to study, but there are also lots of events and activites if you want things to do and make friends"

Umer Fiaz (March 2008)

''Cotton Mills is a safe and friendly environment to live in, and now with activities happening through the week its becoming more like a student hall''

Danielle Davies

''I like living in Cotton mills for many reasons. The management is effective in case anything breaks down, I can leave my valubles behind as the security is excellent, everyone here is friendly and happy, the gym facilities are good and the internet is fast"

'' If you are like me you would have spent hours searching for proper accommodation before you sign a contract. After a while i came to realise that you cannot find student accommodation in Nottingham quite as good as the Cotton Mills.  Even more expensive accommodation does not provide many facilities for students such as a gym, common room and LCD TV, and the flats are not half as attractive.  The rooms are well-designed and spacious, the staff are extremely helpful and it is close to the University of Nottingham, Jubilee Campus.  After having a look around it, you will find that this accommodation definitely speaks for itself.  There really is no comparison.
I would recommend this accommodation to anyone."

''I have only been living in the Cotton Mills for about 3 months now but i am already finding it a pretty cool place to live.  I have my own bathroom which is excellent!  The living room is shared but only by a few of us and we have our very own plasma T.V!  I love going down to the gym which i use pretty often.  The people are cool too and i found Julie and Jason very helpful with regards to anything i have needed.''

Frank

''I enjoy staying at the cotton Mills, its flats are new and functional, the on site gym and laundry are a great convenience and the manager Jason is a really nice and kind person.''

Serena  (Nottingham Trent business School)

''Out of all the accommodation this is definitely the best for value, quality and facilities.  A 32 inch TV with sky sports 1, 2 and 3 is brilliant.''
Basil Aslam ( Nottingham Trent University)

''Living at the cotton Mills is brilliant, there is a vibrant atmosphere and everyone is friendly.  It offers the best value for money and is one of the cheapest private halls to stay in.  It provides various facilities such as the gym, laundry, pool table and bicycle storage.  Each apartment has a 32 inch LCD TV with Sky Sports and Free view.  All rooms come with an en suite so you don't have to share, which is always a good thing.  Its only a twenty minute walk away from Nottingham Trent University, close to the tram line and bus stop just outside the building.  I would recommend it to anyone.''

Imran Kassim  (Nottingham Trent University)

''My brother and i have lived in here for 3 months.  We come from Turkey so something is different and difficult for us about life in the UK at the beginning.  But all Cotton Mills staff have helped us so much.  Before we moved into the Cotton Mills, we had looked around other student accommodation villages in Nottingham.  I think Cotton Mills is one of the best accommodaton because everybody is lovely and friendly especially our managers.  Also we have good facilities here like a gym, laundry, a pool table, internet access and television channels.. etc.  The most important thing you don't need to think about anything such as bills, security and transporting (it has great location).  Because they always care about you, you have a better price than other accommodation village and no hidden extra payment.  you can always trust them.''

Didem Elbasti and Hasan Basri Elbasti

''My name is Keiko Matsuda.  I'm came from Japan.  My hometown is Tokyo.  I was born there.  I've got email address but i do not have website.  Cotton Mills is really nice place for students.  Easy to get to university and city centre.  I can recommend to stay here.''

Keiko Matsudo

''The Cotton Mills has big kitchens and private toilets and is better equipped than you can expect.  For me its a home from home virtually because not only can i get everything i need but also i feel safe and cheerful with all the people's good services and concerns all the time.''

Andy Wong
Flat 9A

''Great value for money, don't have to worry about bills and everything is included.  Great facilities including a free gym and the management on site.  The security is fantastic, you never need to worry about your safety.  Also, unlike friends in student houses, the electricity, internet and cooker all worked from day one!  and being a student, there's nothing better than having your own bathroom!.''

Stuart Mc Glone,

''Cotton Mills is a well-equipped (gym, big living room with flatscreen, own bathrooms, etc.) accommodation and offers a lot of opportunities to get to know other international people/students.
The upcoming events will be contribute to this and I am looking forward to them.''
