Cotton Mills Staff List
Julie – Assistant Manager
Julie has worked at Cotton Mills since its opening in 2005 and has worked in the student accommodation sector in Nottingham for over ten years. She oversees the housekeeping operations and is the first point of contact for all of the students here at Cotton Mills reception. She is also a qualified Fire Warden, First-Aid delegate and has a BICS certificate in Cleaning and Hygiene. With her attention to detail and her extensive local knowledge, Cotton Mills couldn’t run without her.
Paul – Maintenance Supervisor
Like Julie, Paul has also been at Cotton Mills since its conception in 2005. Paul knows every square inch of his building and if there’s a problem, he knows exactly what to do. He has worked in facility maintenance for over 20 years and is a qualified electrical PAT tester, Fire Warden and First Aid delegate. If it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it. If it is broken, call Paul.
James – Maintenance Assistant
James has worked at Cotton Mills since December 2006 and is Paul’s right hand man. He is also a Fire Warden and First Aid delegate and is currently training for electrical and plumbing qualifications. In his spare time, he supports Notts. County, but don’t hold that against him – he’ll be the one unblocking your sink!
Kathy and Ike – General Assistants
Kathy and Ike take care of the cleaning in all the communal areas of the buildings. These two troopers regularly go above and beyond the call of duty, especially on Monday mornings!
Ben and David - Night/Weekend Duty Officers
Ben is new to Cotton Mills but has lots of experience working with students. David is also new to us this year having worked in retail for the last few years. These gentlemen will be the friendly faces you will see when you come home in the evening (or early hours!) and they will be looking after the building, keeping you all safe and secure when Phil and Julie are not here.
I am also still waiting for the Google analytics info.
Phil- Manager
After many years in retail and property management, Phil joined the team at Cotton Mills in 2007. He oversees the day-to-day operations of the complex and also takes care of Health and Safety, administration and Customer service. He can usually be found at his desk in reception and will always find time for a chat if you have any issues, whatever they may be. In the evenings, he runs the Cotton Mills Pool Tournament and promotes live music in the common room.Along with his dedicated team, Phil is totally committed to Cotton Mills and strives to give his residents the best possible student accommodation experience during their time at university. |
